The , sponsored by Oasys Innovations, has won the gold award for best stand in the medium category. This award follows shortly after the PinkDrive’s stand, also sponsored by Oasys, won the silver award and took second place at this year’s Cape Argus Life Cycle Expo. The 2012 Two Oceans Marathon Expo was held at the Good Hope Centre from Wednesday 4 to Friday 6 April, in conjunction with the marathon that took place over two days on the Easter weekend, on Friday 6 and Saturday 7 April.
Interactive elements and the strikingly pink stand caught the judges’ attention and drew many visitors. Highlights included the cartoon fun photos; the Kumala donate and win a barrel of wine; shop ’til you drop in the Shop 4 Cancer; and an extension of the stand – the PinkDrive Mammography unit, parked on site at the Good Hope Centre, offering Mammograms at a discounted rate and free clinical breast examinations as well as PSA testing for men.
Says Mark Strydom, Chief Operating Officer of Oasys Innovations: “With all the technology and modern advances in methods of communicating in todays world, it is increasingly challenging to truly capture an audience’s attention and, more importantly, keep their attention for long enough to ensure that your messages are understood and retained. We strive to build a platform from which our clients can create engaging brand experiences for their intended audiences. We are very proud to be associated with the PinkDrive and to support them in their marketing and communication efforts. This award is testament to their great work and the success of our combined approach”.
