Nicorette helps smokers to quit using Z-CARDS

’s Nicorette, a stop smoking aid, is based in Retreat in the Western Cape. It recently contracted PocketMedia Solutions to produce an informative Z-CARD that congratulates consumers on their decision to stop smoking.

Whilst the Z-CARD informs consumers about Nicorette’s product range, namely patches and gum, it also gets its message across that ‘for every cigarette there’s a Nicorette’.

Booked by advertising agency, JWT Cape Town, The Z-CARDs were distributed at pharmacy counters and at some corporate wellness days.
“They were produced in time for World No Tobacco day, as an aid for smokers who want to quit,” says JWT’s Martine Levy, Production Manager. “As smokers often need encouragement to continue with their non-smoking habit, the Z-CARD was designed to fit easily into their wallet, purse or pocket.”

“The card provides informative and educational information, including the benefits of stopping smoking, some myths about nicotine, the top tips to beat cravings, and a 12 week motivational diary,” says John Davis, the Managing Director of PocketMedia Solutions.

“The diary wishes Nicorette consumers the best of luck in their quest to stop smoking, whilst explaining what changes will happen in their body as the weeks progress,” adds Nicorette’s Vanessa Sew Chung Hong, Account Executive at Johnson & Johnson.

“It also projects an average of how much money smokers will save over the 12-week period due to not using their disposable income to purchase cigarettes,” adds Sew Chung Hong.
