Communication management professionals, sustainability specialists and students from across Southern Africa less than two weeks to register for the 2011 PRISA National Conference, hosted by the Public Relations Institute of Southern Africa (PRISA), which will provide a platform for development of the public relations and communication management profession.
Established in 1957, PRISA is the representative body of professionals in public relations and communication management throughout the southern African region.The 2011 PRISA National Conference will be held at the Inkosi Albert Luthuli International Convention Centre in Durban from Monday, 13 to Tuesday, 14 June 2011.Under the theme, Climate of Change: Public Relations & The Environment, the conference will touch on the communication challenges and opportunities related to environmental sustainability, while at the same time exploring the latest trends in media relations, technology, social media, measurement and evaluation and more.
Top industry specialists will provide insight and knowledge on the changing face of public relations and communication management in South Africa. This is a must attend event for all professionals involved in this field, as well as CSI and sustainability professionals.
It will also include a Celebration Gala Dinner including inauguration of the new PRISA President and presentation of the PRISA Gold Medal for Outstanding Public Relations for South Africa. This prestigious award has been bestowed on deserving recipients only nine times since PRISA’s establishment in 1957.
