TBWA\Hunt\Lascaris has won the Ericsson account to communicate the company’s 2015 vision for Africa. Ericsson, a world leader in telecommunications networks and global producer of telecommunications equipment, is committed to providing 100% broadband access in every corner of the continent by 2015.
TBWA\Hunt\Lascaris were awarded the account, which will include traditional above the line, digital and outdoor elements, after a competitive pitching process which included an internationally based agency.
“From the onset we embraced Ericsson’s vision for a technologically empowered Africa, which we are able to support in all the African markets prioritized by Ericsson through our broad sub-Saharan network and the capacity of our strong South African hub,” comments Ivan Moroke, Group Managing Director of TBWA\Hunt\Lascaris.
“And the prospect of creative, innovative Africans crafting and delivering communications solutions for their fellow Africans from a sub-Saharan base really resonated with Ericsson.”
