Skouspel spectacular airs on kykNet tonight

Don’t miss this year’s broadcast of the spectacular musical extravaganza, Huisgenoot Skouspel. The first, shorter broadcast will air on Friday 2 December 2011 at 20:30 on KykNET (channel 111 on DStv). A repeat will air on 3 December 2011 at 15:30.

Then end your year in style with the full broadcast on 31 December 2011 at 20:30 on KykNET. The show will be followed by Jukebox with a countdown to the new year.

It was a year of firsts for the 2011 Skouspel production. Forty-five artists, including international star Patrizio Buanne, took part, top fashion designers created the outfits and the multimillion rand stage was complemented by huge screens displaying high-quality graphics to accompany the show. A spectacular event not to be missed.

This year’s Skouspel was bigger and better than ever! Top fashion designers worked on the costumes, giant screens with thematic videos complemented the multimillion-rand stage and this year for the first time dancers were part of the choreography of the concert.
Coenie de Villiers was honoured as music legend of the year and 45 artists, including international star Patrizio Buanne and new additions Charlize Berg and Die Heuwels Fantasties, performed De Villiers’ popular song Karoonag.
