ABF Presidents Cup Golf Day to be held in

Support a very worthy industry cause and book a fourballs for the annual ABF Presidents Cup golf day, which takes place on Thursday, 31st May at the Johannesburg Country Club, Woodmead.

“Rated as one of the top 25 golf courses in South Africa, the Johannesburg Country Club will provide the teams with a great course to prove their golfing prowess and a great excuse to get out of the office for this fund raising event,” says Sharlene Vallance, ABF Executive Committee Member.

The cost of entering a fourball is R 2 800, which includes the green fees and dinner. This fee does exclude the cost of hiring golf carts and caddies.

“We have kept the entry fee the same as last year,” adds Sharlene, “because we would like as many companies as possible to compete.”

The prize giving and dinner will also include a media auction where media buyers can snap up advertising space at a good price. Media buyers unable to play golf are welcome to purchase tickets for the dinner and prize giving.

“A big thank you to Primedia Broadcasting for sponsoring all the golf shirts, caps as well as the balls and golf towels for this event,” adds Sharlene. “Last year the Daily Sun took top honours. Will they be able to defend their golfing honour or will another team rise to the occasion? All will be revealed at the end of May.”
