Talk Radio 702 and567 CapeTalk scooped first and second place in the Business Media, Radio category in the 2011 Sunday Times Top Brands Awards.
The awards acknowledge South Africa’s most iconic brands as revealed by TNS Reseach Surveys. The awards span three categories: Business, Consumer and Grand Prix categories.
For the Business categories, TNS samples 400 top business people including CEOs, CFOs, COOs and the like, from organisations of all sizes.
“It is extremely encouraging to know that Talk Radio 702 is held in such high esteem by professionals of this calibre,” said Talk Radio 702 station manager, Pheladi Gwangwa.
“567 CapeTalk is the only talk station in this province and it holds a unique position in the market place. Because of this we have a bigger responsibility to build meaningful relationships with our stakeholders by driving content that is relevant to their world,” said 567 CapeTalk station manager, Colleen Louw.
