New MD for Antalis SA

Raymond Waldeck has been appointed Managing Director of Antalis Southern Africa.  He succeeds Mr Dave Haldane who announced, during the second half of 2012, his intentions to leave the Company.

After more than nineteen years service to the Group, eight of which as Managing Director, we wish Dave Haldane every success in his future endeavours, and thank him for the valuable contribution and loyal service he has given to Antalis.

Raymond has worked previously in a number of different industries with the most recent being Bridgestone Maxiprest where he held the position of Chief Operations Officer. He brings with him a wealth of experience.  Raymond holds a BCom Law and Business Management degree and has various Marketing and Sales qualifications.  He achieved Director’s Award for Best Student University of Stellenbosch Management School.

He is an avid reader and enjoys public speaking.  Staying cool, calm and collected is the name of the game while on a clay shoot. Clay pigeon shooting is a thrilling experience, demanding concentration, a keen eye and quick reactions Raymond does this for sport.  He also runs to keep healthy while for relaxation fly fishing is his passion.

Raymond is looking forward to the challenges that lie ahead and working alongside a team with vast experience in the Paper and Printing Industry.
