Loeries exhibition visits Markex and Vega Johannesburg in June
The Loerie Awards invites students, lecturers, industry professionals and the general public to come and enjoy our region’s greatest brand communication at the Loeries Travelling Exhibition, which will be showcased in Johannesburg this June.
The first exhibition will take place at the Vega School of Brand Leadership from 4 – 9 June and soon after it will join Markex, South Africa’s top marketing expo, at the Sandton Convention Centre from 12 – 14 June.
With the Loeries entry deadline just around the corner (the deadline was recently extended to 15 June 2012), this exhibition offers the perfect opportunity to see the most recent Loerie winning work up-close. The work on display provides a great point of reference on how to submit your entries and will give you a good idea on what the judges are looking for.
The exhibition showcases the innovative campaigns for different brands across an array of disciplines, including architecture, publication design, PR communication, live events, TV, radio, print, digital and more.

The Loeries Travelling Exhibition will be one of the main attractions at Markex 2012. Markex sees over 10,000 visitors through its doors over the three day period and is endorsed by both the Marketing Association of South Africa (MASA) and Direct Marketing Association of South Africa (DMASA). This will be the second year that Markex has partnered with the Loeries to showcase the Travelling Exhibition.
“Markex is a platform for the inception of new concepts, innovative thinking, inspiration and ideas, as well as creating new opportunities for networking and building relationships,” says Fran Lurie, Markex Exhibition Manager. “Since The Loerie Awards recognises and fosters creative excellence, and strongly believes in creativity as a key business tool, the Loeries Travelling Exhibition ties in perfectly with Markex.”
