The ABF is hosting its next ten pin bowling event on the 28th July at Galaxy World at the Zone in Rosebank and is calling on the industry to book their teams.
“It has been a while since we hosted our last ten pin bowling event,” says Sharlene Vallance Vice President of the ABF, “and we’re excited to have this event on our calendar again. We have always had great support by the industry as it allows everyone to let their hair down and have some fun!
This year, for the first time, the event will be themed. We have jointly agreed that the theme for 2011 will be ‘Green’ and ask all participants to dress in an eco friendly fashion. This should definitely get our industry’s creative juices flowing, as there are a multitude of options.”
Teams of four cost R1500 and there are also branding opportunities available on the side of each lane at a cost of R2 000 per lane.

John Langford the COO of Big Concerts has kindly donated 8 tickets to the James Blunt concert while Khoja Group has provided us with a fabulous floating trophy. Mabalingwe have also come on board and are providing us with mid week spa vouchers. This list goes on. Prizes will be awarded for the best dressed team, the team with the most spirit, the three top teams and spot prizes will also be allocated.”
“The ABF work hard during winter as the weather causes an increase in the demand for food,” says Sharlene. “Industry attendance at this event will make all the difference to the people that the ABF support.”
