After a sold out performance in 2011, Toyota Jacaranda Pops is back with top mainstream music acts who will  perform with the Johannesburg Philharmonic Orchestra on Saturday, 27 October.

“Toyota Jacaranda Pops is a unique musical concept that fuses the best of pop and classical music”, says Kevin Fine, Jacaranda FM’s General Manager,  “Jacaranda’s music mix of the 80’s 90s and now meets a top line-up, and the classical maestros, in an open air environment in Jo’burg. It’s just another way that we as a station are making it ‘Lekker to be here’.”

It will be one of the very last opportunities to see Kahn Morbee – frontman of the Parlotones – performing live on South African soil before the band’s move to Los Angeles, USA.  He’ll be joined by a stellar line-up of artists – – who, with the orchestra, will transform Delta Park into a pop-infused symphony of sound.

It’s a star-studded concert in the park for the entire family, so bring your kids, friends, colleagues and picnic baskets along.

“Toyota is proud to be associated with Jacaranda Pops and excited about the growth the event has shown over the past year,” said Kerry Roodt, General Manager: Marketing Communications at Toyota South Africa.

The Toyota Jacaranda Pops at Delta Park, Blairgowrie on Saturday 27 October at starts at 7pm. Gates open at 3 pm.Tickets cost R200 for adults and R30 for kids under 16 or adults over 60.
