Cars in Action – a new future

Cars in Action was established in 1997 by Michele Lupini. The magazine and its website has become a source of motoring news and entertainment over the years. But the ever-changing media landscape has made it difficult for this family-run title to survive.

Rather than let his baby die, Michele has transformed Cars in Action into a modern ‘car read’ ready to take on the very best of the remaining motoring magazines available in the marketplace.

Two years of planning will finally come to a head when Cars in Action’s re-launch issue is released on the 6^th of October.

Cars in Action is headed by one of South Africa’s respected motoring editors, John Bentley. A car guru and passionate writer, John took the reins in March and has steadily been working on the magazine’s content, look and feel.

SA’s 4-time SA Motoring Writer of the Year, Egmont Sippel joined Bentley in September. Bentley and Sippel along with media specialist and the new Cars in Action publisher, Wendy Robinson and a team including, have been charged with taking the magazine, the website and some exciting new products to a new level of excellence.
