Commercial hit radio station 5FM announces its new line-up, effective from 1st April 2013 and confirms three new on air personalities to join the 5FM family.
Capetonian, Stephanie B joins 5FM from sister station, Good Hope FM. Stephanie B is a multi-talented on-air personality who is passionate about music. Stephanie will host the 10pm – 1am slot from Mondays to Thursdays. Her vibrant and bubbly personality will provide an enriching and entertaining experience for our listeners. Stephanie’s offering will replace the Powernite shows but continues to deliver an edgy, punchy music experience synonymous to the 5FM sound. New music continues to have a home on 5FM.
Ms Cosmo, a female hip-hop DJ previously from YFM and currently on music television is arguably the hottest up and coming hip hop DJ in South Africa. Ms Cosmo will deliver a unique hip hop experience to our audience. Her show airs Sunday nights from 10pm – 1am. 
The final addition to the power of 5FM is Johannesburg based radio presenter, Justin Toerien. Justin started his radio career as a teenager in campus radio and is a well-known voice in regional radio. Justin joins us in the early morning slot on weekends from 1am – 4am.
5FM is known to attract the best radio talent and are exceptionally proud to have Stephanie B, Ms Cosmo and Justin Toerien join the music powerhouse.
5FM’s formidable daytime line-up of 5FM mornings with Gareth Cliff (6am-9am), Forbes and Fix (9am-12noon), Rob Vember (12noon-3pm), The Fresh Drive (3pm-7pm) and The Roger Goode radio show (7pm – 10pm) will continue to deliver edgy music, engaging content, and unique personalities exclusive to 5FM. Weekends are kick-started with Thomas Msengana and the Weekend Breakfast team (7am – 10am) offering weekend lifestyle entertainment.
Ultimix Weekend Edition:
Due to popular demand, The Ultimix Weekend Edition, hosted by DJ Euphonik on Saturdays will extend for an additional hour from 6pm to 10pm (previously 7pm-10pm). This extended show will offer listeners an additional hour of top class music entertainment to get them ready for their Saturday night party.

5FM’s Beats by Demand (Sunday Live Request show, 10am-2pm) will find an extended home in the Fresh Drive and will partner using mobile technology, listener interaction and the All Star 5FM DJ line-up to provide a first to market, cutting edge listener experience.
