Fabric, one of the UK and Middle East’s leading marketing, communications and digital recruitment firms has entered the South African market with the launch today of its Johannesburg office.
The decision to enter this market was taken due to increased demand from South African based companies, work that had previously been handled from Fabric’s HQ in London.
The move enables Fabric to continue to build strong international links with its global agency and corporate clients. It also gives companies in South Africa access to both a local and international pool of talent, drawing on Fabric’s wide and established network in Europe and the Middle East.
Justin Kent, Managing Director of Fabric, has been responsible for building the firm’s international network. He comments that, “As well as offering companies access to our talent pool and growing our network; the move is strategically important. We know from experience in our London and Dubai offices that there are large numbers of South Africans working in the communications, marketing and digital industries in both territories. We will now be able to consult directly with South African professionals who may be looking to return home.”
Kent adds that, “…crucially, it enables Fabric to provide recruitment solutions to international companies that are investing and expanding in the growing economies of Africa. Our offices in London, Johannesburg and Dubai allow us to work across North and South Africa, Europe, the Middle East and the Levant. We can cover a lot of ground with small, strategically placed offices.”
Fabric was founded by Kent in 2000 and it opened its doors in Dubai in 2008.
