NYF winners announced

The New York Festivals International Advertising Awards now in its 54th year of honouring the World’s Best Advertising, announced its 2011 award winners on May 5th at an awards ceremony at Skylight West in New York City.

  • World’s Best Idea

The NYF Executive Jury selected one outstanding entry that merited the title of ‘World’s Best Idea’.   This new award, created by the 2011 NYF Executive Jury, is created to honour the single best ad in the entire competition. Wieden + Kennedy Amsterdam was honoured for their integrated campaign ‘Write The Future’ for client Nike.

  • Agency Network of the Year

BBDO was honored last night with the title of Network of the Year receiving 3 Gold World Medals, 18 Silver, 38 Bronze and 72 Finalist Certificates. The Network of the Year Award is given to the agency network that obtains the highest score for entries in all mediums across all competitions.

  • Agency of the Year

Leo Burnett Sydney, was awarded the Agency of the Year Award for their stellar work, the agency received 4 Gold World Medals, 5 Silver, 2 Bronze and 10 Finalist Certificates. The Agency of the Year Award is given to the agency that obtains the highest score for entries in all competitions across all mediums, irrespective of whether these have been entered by the agency or another party i.e. production company.
